What makes a top modern company? Profit maximization….? Prestige….?
Both are absolutely legitimate, but there is more to it than that. A modern company is also committed to idealistic values such as the environment, ecology and social aspects.
What is legally binding is covered by corporate social responsibility (e.g. the Supply Chain Sustainability Act).
In addition, companies set themselves voluntary targets.
LTS North America
Both locations in North America, West Caldwell and St.Paul, are participating in the Habitat for Humanity drive on September 26 and 27, providing volunteers to help build homes. Cares Giving Week will take place at the same time (September 23-27). Teams are also being formed for the 2024 Northern NH Heart Walk in support of the American Heart Association.
LTS in St. Paul is also sponsoring the “COPS in the Park” event – with monetary donations, school supplies and by lending a hand on site. C.O.P.S. stands for: Community Outreach with Public Safety and is intended to facilitate and improve contact between citizens and public safety employees (police, fire department).
LTS-DT
Our location in Israel is also getting involved: LTS-DT in Netanya had already organized a flea market on April 10 with private items for the benefit of needy families. Blood donated on International Blood Donor Day, June 18, went to wounded IDF soldiers. On Israeli Independence Day (originating on May 18, 1948), the traditional Israeli dish “Shawarma” was distributed to 70 serving soldiers.
LTS Andernach
The “Hoffnungswerk” Altenahr
After the Ahr Valley disaster in 2021, many colleagues agreed to help regularly on site. This led to the desire at LTS to enter into long-term partnerships with charitable organizations.
Our colleagues bake cakes for the coffee bus whnere local residents can meet for a chat on Fridays and Saturdays.
We also helped at the Sternstundenmarkt in December 2023 and 2024 at the “Wine Summer” in Altenahr, assisting with the children’s program, the food stalls and the café bus.
The children’s hospice in Koblenz
Our LTS orchestra played great songs to accompany the Children’s Life Run for the children’s hospice in Koblenz, which aims to raise awareness of children’s hospice work on its way across Germany. With great weather and all participants (kids, celebrities, clowns, helpers) in high spirits, the Hope Bus took them from Koblenz via Nassau to Frankfurt. It was a great day!
There are still so many ways we can help and who knows what the future holds! We are staying tuned, WE CARE!
