Others may spontaneously think of the many different types of German bread. “Made in the USA”, on the other hand, conjures up thoughts of large trucks, fast food and the endless expanses of the American dream. But what happens when these two worlds collide? Let’s take a humorous look!

Cars: precision vs. power

In Germany, a car is built to conquer the highway at 200 km/h without the driver losing a single bead of sweat. In the USA, on the other hand, a car is built to drive through the Grand Canyon while towing a trailer with a barbecue and a fridge full of beer. German cars are like well-oiled clockwork, American cars are powerful muscle packs on wheels – robust and ready for any adventure.

Food: Variety vs. convenience

German cuisine is known for its variety – from bratwurst to sauerkraut to Black Forest gateau. American cuisine, on the other hand, is known for its convenience – burgers, hot dogs and, of course, the famous mac ‘n’ cheese. While in Germany you can spend hours preparing a perfect dish, in the USA everything is designed to be quick and easy. Why spend hours cooking when you can get everything in a drive-thru?

Technology: innovation vs. entertainment

Germany is known for its technological innovations – think of the invention of the MP3 format or the groundbreaking developments in the automotive industry. The US, on the other hand, is a master of entertainment technology – from Hollywood movies to the latest gadgets from Silicon Valley. German technology is practical and versatile, American technology is spectacular and exciting.

Work culture: efficiency vs. creativity

In Germany, efficiency is a top priority. Every work step is thought through and optimized to achieve the best result. In the USA, on the other hand, creativity is encouraged – everyone is encouraged to think big and break new ground. German work culture is like a perfectly tuned orchestra – harmonious and reliable, while American work culture is more like creative chaos – but full of brilliant ideas.

Conclusion:

Whether “Made in Germany” or “Made in USA” – both have their unique strengths and weaknesses. While German products are known for their precision and quality, American products score with their robustness and entertainment value.
At the end of the day, we are lucky to be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. Especially considering that LTS has locations in both countries – from which we can all benefit!

We CARE. We CREATE.
