On June 24, 2022, the first LTS Employee Day with our Purpose<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We CARE. We CREATE. We DELIVER.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

took place – a premiere for us and at the same time a huge success!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In addition to playful and technical challenges (including the assembly of three kickers), various presentations on the topic of “We CARE” were offered. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We were very pleased to be able to win Ms. Anja Allmannritter, a Parkinson’s patient, for an interview, who also uses a transdermal patch as a therapy herself! Mrs. Allmanritter, Kowelenzer Sch\u00e4ngelsche, mother of two children and lawyer by profession had agreed to give us a little insight into the beginnings of her disease, her everyday life and how she deals with it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Retired for a year, she now writes down her own thoughts, dreams, fears, hardships and feelings and expresses them through poems, stories or songs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

She has dedicated one poem to her transdermal patch. We want to leave that in the original and instead share another original poem in English on our blog:\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I AM A KNIGHT<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I am a knight \u2013 I\u2019m going to fight<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

against this nightmare \u2013 life isn\u2019t fair.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

They say I won\u2019t die \u2013 is this the truth or a lie?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I know, I will suffer \u2013 but will I be tougher<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

every new day? \u2013 Yes, I\u2019m gonna stay<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

brave and strong \u2013 a whole life long.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This crappy disease \u2013 it will never leave. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But I\u2019m gonna breathe \u2013 deeply \u2013 to make \u201echeese\u201c<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A smile is my weapon \u2013 against the \u201eParkinson\u201c-threaten.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I\u2019m the stronger one \u2013 rights it\u2018s got none.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I don\u2019t allow ears \u2013 to listen to my tears.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Nobody will hear \u2013 my depression and fear.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This way is right \u2013 cause I am a knight.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I just understand \u2013 that in \u201eParkinson\u201c- land<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I need a helping hand \u2013 but it won\u2019t be the end!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There are family and friends \u2013 with their helping hands.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Most of them have always been there \u2013 always ready to share<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

everything in life \u2013 I can feel their strive.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Some friends are new \u2013 ignoring the clue<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

that I don\u2019t expect anything \u2013 a strength they bring<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

like a magic ring \u2013 what a great thing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Some friends are gone \u2013 I don\u2019t miss a single one.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This lost is a gift \u2013 sometimes life\u2018s directions drift.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Life isn\u2019t perfect at all \u2013 and Parkinson will make me fall<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

again and again \u2013 but I\u2019ll fight my way back as long as I can.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I\u2019m gonna fight \u2013 every day, every night. This way is right \u2013 cause I am a knight.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
